For increased safety on deck, the J/112 Elegance boasts long, stainless steel handrails, a full bulwark along her entire length combined with a highly effective non-skid deck covering to ensure you have good grip whatever the angle of heel. The life raft can be located nearby, in the dedicated, easy-to-access cockpit locker.

The positioning of the deck hardware on the J/112 Elegance has been carefully studied and selected to make manoeuvring as easy as possible. A double-handed configuration is all that’s required to control her. YOUR STANDARD YACHT – RACE READY

The standard yacht equipment includes spinnaker hardware on a retractable carbon bowsprit and high-quality standing and running rigging. The finish of the profiles is unrivalled, ensuring the best possible sailing without any add-ons being required.
COMFORT
Brightness
The large side hatches on deck and the hull portholes create a very bright interior in the saloon. Careful study has also gone into the lighting to reinforce the warm atmosphere.
Stowage
The large aft locker is accessible from the cockpit and the head compartment. A dedicated locker is set aside for the life raft and all the seating features built-in lockers.
Sailing
Very quick upwind thanks to her long waterline and low centre of gravity, the J 112 E is adept at getting up on the plane in light downwind breeze. Easy to helm in shorthanded configuration.
Berths
The 2 large, private double cabins provide 2 couples with the utmost privacy when cruising.

The ergonomics of the helming station has been studied in depth to make every helming position as comfortable as possible. The mainsail and jib sheet are within easy reach of the helmsman.

MATERIALS
Composites
The materials for the sandwich and infusion composite construction are selected with precision so as to achieve the best possible combination of lightness/solidity on the market.
Keel
The keel comprises a fully encapsulated cast iron fin keel and a lead bulb for the greatest possible stability with an impeccable finish.
Rig
The J/112 E’s mast is the only one of its kind on the market and its section features an integral mast track enabling the installation of cars with no added weight.
Joinery
The joinery workshops use traditional methods incorporating high quality solid wood and veneers selected to provide each yacht with a unique finish.
