Joss is regarded as one of the best performing J122 of recent years, she sails extremely well in all weather conditions and boasts the following achievements. Joss is the current Offshore Racing WA’s 2019/20 Champion Offshore Yacht – combined fleets – winning the coveted “Siska Trophy”.

Joss also won every Division 1 IRC Racing Series in ORWA’s 2019/20 Summer & Winter competition, including several individual Sailing Club sponsored Offshore Racing Series. The yacht was recently “Runner Up” in Division 1,2020/21 WA IRC State Championships.

Joss was purchased new by the current owner and shipped to Sydney, it was then delivered to Port Moresby, PNG where it resided for one year, then sailed across the north of Australia to Perth where it is berthed today. Joss has been a regular competitor in Offshore Racing in WA since its arrival in mid 2013.

Joss has been optimised for offshore racing but remains an extremely well appointed yacht for cruising with extensive B&G instrumentation including 2 Chart Plotters, Wind Instruments, 2 x Fixed VHF radios, HF Radio, Auto Pilot, 2 freshwater tanks (350 litres), spray dodger, aft Bimini, full boat shade cover, cockpit cushions, removable cockpit table, external aft deck shower and detachable stern storage box.

The interior is extremely well appointed with all settees & mattresses being recently fully recovered with high quality materials.

Joss has an extensive sail wardrobe reflective of a competitive Offshore Racer/Cruiser.

This yacht has been maintained to a very high standard, has all new rod rigging and a new racing foil was installed in 2019.
